pdfopt is discontinued upstream, the upstream developers simply forgot to remove the man pages. In the next upstream release (9.08) they will be removed. Ghostscript's built-in pdfwrite device is capable of generating optimized PostScript, so pdfopt is not needed any more. ** Changed in:
