The problem seems to be with gvfs-dav (a component of Nautilus =
Ubuntu's file manager), so until it is fixed, if ever, you can use a
different file manager that does not rely on gvfs, like Krusader, in
which dav shares work fine. See: http://www.krusader.org/

Does anyone kows if there are any workarounds,
maybe like using a different WebDav client and not using nautilus+gvfsd-dav ?
This bug is very annoying especially since it is a big regression from ubuntu
12 series where it all worked flowessly for me ...
