This crash has been resolved in the latest 6.3.0 LibreOffice snap,
however, OpenCL itself is still not yet supported.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1819082] Re: [snap] LibreOffice crashes after enabling OpenCL in the settings

2019-08-06 Thread Marcus Tomlinson
Apologies for the radio silence on this issue thus far. Over the next 2
weeks we'll be rolling out new versions of LibreOffice across the board.
Once that's done, we will come back to this. Thank you for your
patience.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1819082] Re: [snap] LibreOffice crashes after enabling OpenCL in the settings

2019-03-20 Thread Olivier Tilloy
I can reliably observe the problem.
Interestingly, if instead of "Apply" I click "OK" and select "Restart Now", I
don't get the crash recovery dialog. Still, OpenCL is not enabled, so I'm
guessing something is missing in the snap that makes OpenCL not functional. But
I think the crash is only tangentially related: it's probably the code path
triggered by "Apply" as opposed to "OK" that results in the crash.

** Summary changed:

- LibreOffice snap crashes after enabling OpenCL in the settings
+ [snap] LibreOffice crashes after enabling OpenCL in the settings

** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu)
   Status: New => Confirmed
