It seems it's a problem of Software and Updates, because I tried to
install apps in Gnome Software, run synaptic etc and it was ok with
password window.

So i think you can mark it as a duplicate of bug #1727908.

That sounds like bug #1727908. Would it be ok with you to make this bug
a duplicate of that other one, or do you see similar failures to prompt
for a password elsewhere?

Very strange. It doesn't work in Software and Updates when I push checkboxes in
Other software.
But works in Control Center-> Users when click Unlock.

Also I remember that before last update it worked also in Software and
Updates

I expected to see authorization dialog but nothing happened.
Also I found new gnome-shell crash report in var/crash/

Could you also add a 'journalctl -b 0' log to the bug after triggering
the issue?

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1868360] Re: No superuser access window after upgrade to 20.04

2020-03-21 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your
description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful
to read "How to report bugs effectively"
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful
if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures.

At a minimum, we need:
1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the
problem.
2. The behavior you expected.
3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!
