The required dependencies are in d/control; so there is nothing further to be done. When trying to build network-manager-applet the same way we do in Ubuntu; consider using the branch lp:~network-manager/network-manager- applet/ubuntu; along with the standard 'bzr bd' commands for building; as

Typically bugs about individua package are reported agains Ubuntu + That Source Package as I now did. UDD project only tracks bugs about keeping the bzr branch up-to-date. How did you envoke package clean? Did you use $ debuild clean ? It is sometimes expected to have build-deps installed when
