Thanks a lot for reporting this, however since Banshee is due to be
dropped from the default installation, this bug no longer constitutes a
papercut.

The thing is that when using Thunderbird with Gmail on IMAP, a message
appear as new in differents folders.
As thunderbird display notification for new messages in all folder, the
counter is waiting that we reload each folder before to reload the
counter.
This is quite annoying.
It could be
could anybody please try the version from oneiric proposed? its newer
than the one in Precise so that should fix the issue there too, thanks.
