Indeed it looks very similar. As far as I can tell with my limited
knowledge, the problem is that the openvpn plugin helper fails to set up
the tap0 device. It is possible that I could make things work for myself
by adding tap0 to /etc/network/interfaces, but as the poster of #777864
mentions, it
installing the new seahorse package + reboot + unlocking keyring gives the
ability to change keyring password.
At next reboot, no prompt for unlocking keyring anymore.

The only difference in my case is disconnecting and reconnecting in
Network Manager makes no difference. Have to log out and back in to
reconnect the connection. But Network Manager shows the WiFi signal is
strong at all times and other devices can use the internet, just my two
12.10 machines

Can't reproduce steps to reveal this bug. It happens randomly when I
switch between windows, where is different layots switched - layot
indicator just stays unrefreshed after window switching. It happens in
Nautilus, Firefox, Windows programs under Wine, LibreOffice and other

@Raymond: I use 'sudo apt-get remove indicator-appmenu' and restart the
session. The global menu disappears and the menu appears in the
application window, for all the applications (not only LibreOffice).
