Actually, it worked rather decently shortly after I submitted this post.
I'll report back if i have further issues.
The only thing that is a little annoying, is that if you focus on
Monitor 1, while full screen with Remmina on Monitor 2, the Unity panels
overlay the previously full screen until

I got the exact same problem. I even went out and bought me a new
headset just to be 100% sure that it wasn't just the set that was
broken, but it wasn't.
It started after I upgraded to 13.10. I have since then done a new,
complete fresh install with no change.
Oddly enogh it seems this only
the ability to set a compose key is missing and that is just stupid for people
that have to write in multiple languages. Why this would be removed is beyond
me.
Why any settings menue would be reduced is beyond me. If a user does not want
to tinker with it, he will never SEE any settings menu,
try mute the right channel of Cature Switch if the left and right of
digital mic is out of phase
How would i go about doing that?

power saving HIBERNATE for YEARS in Ubuntu without any problems. This is

Lock generates an Esc keycode and vice versa. This was done using the
options in the keyboard settings, which seem to have disappeared
recently.
