@Donald: have you been able to sort out this situation? Do you have a
working installation of libreoffice now? The version in xenial is now
5.1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~xenial2.

Removing the libreoffice source package task, as this is an upstream
feature request, which when implemented will make its way to the ubuntu
packages without any additional work needed on the packaging side.
** No longer affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu)

Yes that solves the issue :-). Could you link me the code changes?
But are you sure you can't fix the support for traditional microphones? :-(
Would be a sad loss, could you elaborate why this is not possible?

Title:
Thunderbird 52.1.1 no longer able to see remotely mounted folders
Status in thunderbird
The complex.dbaccess.RowSet failure happens because the soffice
executable crashed (exit code 139 == SIGSEGV). Indeed:
It looks like /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin generated a core file at
/tmp/autopkgtest.ONgbYC/build.EzT/libreoffice-5.3.3/workdir/JunitTest/dbaccess_complex/user/core
@Joachim: do you mean that you're not seeing the crash any longer now?
What's your version of chromium now? Please, do not use the canonical-
chromium-builds/stage PPA, it's not meant for end-users (and indeed you
won't be able to install debug symbols for that PPA with the method I
suggested).
thanks. For me consider this as closed.

João, so when libreoffice crashes you're not getting any crash report
dialog? Are there crash files under /var/crash/ ?
What are the contents of /etc/default/apport ?
