This does not appear to be a duplicate of #1387303. That bug is "gnome-keyring
components can't be disabled", where as this one is "gnome-keyring doesn't
work".
In any case, gnome-keyring 3.10.1-1ubuntu4
I can confirm that the "GNOME Keyring SSH Agent" entry is ticked in the
startup applications window. A little more experimentation has provided
more insight.
Starting with gnome-keyring 3.10.1-1ubuntu4.1, and continuing into
3.10.1-1ubuntu4.2, the ssh-agent only affects some processes started
with
Disabling Place Windows doesn't work for the Xfce datetime plugin
though. I think this is a general problem with the way Compiz handles
bottom panel popout windows.
Out of interest Monsta, does the Whisker Menu fix work for mintmenu if
the x and y positions are the lowest possible (-32768, -32768

If I close my laptop lid to initiate suspend, everything comes back
except the screen. This worked in 12.04. I *think* it's xorg because
it's display related.
I have to just shut off the whole thing and restart.
