I've a small network at home,5 PC with ubuntu and one MAC OSX ML. When, in
nautilus, i try to look at the computers of my network, nautilus shows none,
but the MAC shows the all the conected PCs to the network.
I think this is a bug, because Nautilus have to dysplay

seb i've been trying to make it easier for our company users to do it,
since they get pre-installed machines and i advice them to change the
hostname to something familiar i'll be looking to see if we can port
the installer setup to be used on 1st login, but till then, using
Control Panel

Since the upgrade to Xubuntu 12.10 (packet evince 3.6.0-0ubuntu2), the
vertical scrollbar has a height that is strictly proportional to the

One of my users is experiencing the same issue on 12.04.
It's a Dell Precision 4700 with a Intel Corporation Centrino Ultimate-N
6300 wireless card.
I believe it was working before so maybe an update has broken network-
manager.
The versions we have are:

I'm not sure why you come to that conclusion, but I always authorize the
accounts whenever requested (the top right menu button turns red). In
fact, I repeatedly authorized and unauthorized the gtalk account when
debugging the problem, trying to make Empathy show the contacts.
