Same here Lenovo T530 Intel 6205 wifi adapter. The work around (sudo systemctl restart network-manager.service) works for me most of the time. Sometimes my machine needs a reboot then a router reboot to reconnect. It's an old router but didn't present any issues before Ubuntu 16LTS install.
