I wanted to quickly poll what people think about applying the

codebase. There are many uncontroversial rules - but that one is somewhat
more controversial than others.

Dear Airflow developers,
The first week of April (3-5, April) there will be a workshop at CERN on the
current and future use of workflow languages in analysis in particle physics at
the LHC (https://indico.cern.ch/e/workflow-languages-workshop). We (the
organisers) would like to also get the
-1 for removing it now.
The reasons have already been elaborated by folks here sufficiently (My team is
an example of using experimental API heavily so far. The ideal situation is of
course to already catch up with the latest features, like to use REST API. But
the reality is reality).
