As part of this discussion I proceeded with this commit: https://github.com/apache/deltaspike/commit/6fb873142020d3e259182f689a226c0df7ab2cf3 Now the deltaspike root artifactId is just 'deltaspike'. I tried the release steps and it looks much more nice than having deltaspike-root. DELTASPIKE

That could be an option or review maven-release-plugin. I've created DELTASPIKE-855 to track this changes. On 3/10/15 15:55, Romain Manni-Bucau wrote: +1 to remove any suffix. Le 10 mars 2015 20:50, "Rafael Benevides" a écrit : I also realized that deltaspike-root-1.3.0-source-release.zip no

I also realized that deltaspike-root-1.3.0-source-release.zip now brings site and documenation sources. Maybe the distribution profile should be reviewed to consider only deltaspike-project instead deltaspike-root. that should also fix the tag name: https://github.com/apache/deltaspike/releases

I would like to return this discussion: As Gerhard said: "per >default< the resulting tag is deltaspike-root-[version] instead of deltaspike-project-[version] " . That's too much ugly and also could break automatic links at the website and tutorials. I think that we should change: - the del

hi @ all, currently we are facing changes and issues with the release process (due to the new root-pom). #1 during the release process [1] it's now needed to confirm the version of >every< module (minor, but something changed here) #2 per >default< the resulting tag is deltaspike-root-[version] in
