Welp, Apache DRAT’ers, thanks for all your help and contributions.
The project has now been retired to the Attic per the Board meeting.
I’ve created the Github fork at chrismattmann/drat to return to development
there.
Thanks for all the fish.

Thus far, I count +1s expressed during various threads from
Karanjeet Singh
Phil Ottlinger

Chris Mattmann
The VOTE can remain open through this week for at least 72 hours.
I’ll tally the results if there are any more at the end of the week and
declare the result
+1 to move to the Attic.
Also as I mentioned, if the Board approves that, I would like to work with
infra to transfer
the repo back to github.com/chrismattmann.
Thank you.

It’s possible that we may not in fact have enough interest to

If that is the case I would request that should the project be spun

Hey All,
For those wondering, Tom Barber inspired me to start the 1.0 release process
for Apache DRAT. Reality is, we need the 1.9 Apache OODT release, but I’ll spin
an RC 1 for DRAT just knowing we’ll have to do an RC 1 that pins to 1.9 OODT.
But
I want to go through the process. I’m just
hich I know he’s got on standby.

Hey Folks,
I will start spinning an RC1 for DRAT this week. Sorry it’s taken so long.
I don’t think the AvroRPC stuff is necessary for RC1 for DRAT. We’ll ship it
with Xml-RPC version of OODT for now, and then if successful we can easily
do a DRAT 2.0 that uses AvroRPC and OODT 1.9-dev.
