don’t even see a need to ask. There’s either three or four votes.

I didn't so the votes were not carried over. I don't think I could go back and
recto-actively say they did without cancelling this RC and making a new one.

Hi,
The function of the PMC is to provide oversight to the board, the 3 +1 PMC
binding votes on a release are required for this. Changes to NOTICE files (no
matter how minor) can have significant legal and downstream project impact and
IMO need to be approved by the PMC as part of the release p

Again votes are only valid for the RC they are for, being the RM or not has
nothing to do with it.
We added provision for vote carry over into our guidelines for minor non code
changes to making voting a little easier, but that doesn't mean yo
Om and I both disagree with that conclusion. You are the RM, so you
have the final say, but if I were you, I'd take what I had and give
the community what they need, namely a new and improved version of the
software.

Yes but those votes are not binding on RC2, votes are only binding on the RC
they are for.
In some case votes can be carried over (ie for minor README non code changes)
but in this case they were not .
Thanks,
Justin
Om and Mark also voted +1 (binding) on RC1.

There's only 2 +1 binding votes myself and Alex.

You have 4 +1 (binding) votes. What's keeping you from calling the
vote and releasing the software?

Hi,
The vote has been open for 5 days and the whole process more than a month.
Does any PMC member have a few free cycles to to check the release out and VOTE?
BTW The TourDeFlex application is approaching 25,000 views (over the last 3
months).
Thanks,

Hey Bertrand,

I think the 'flex-sdk_release' job runs the same ant targets that an
RM would, at least that is the way I set it up originally. That means
that the nightlies basically could qualify as an RC (with the added
signature, of course).
But to me it somehow feels "more in control" to walk through the

No worries. The 4.14 release will have my name - or rather, my

Errors it could be some null pointer exceptions and so on, but failures -
happens when some tests condition/asserts is not fulfill.
Erik go to the reports and you will see more details.
I will run tests tomorrow morning my time and merge everything
I'm running that now, see a total of 459 tests, currently it's

Will let you know the final outcome, but so far I see a dozen or so

Yes. That’s what I most recently got.
Switching minimalTests to false causes a whole slew or errors. I don’t know how
many are problems, and how many are problematic tests.

I plan on spending some time early next week getting my head better wrapped
around the tests.
I committed the changes. Can you see what happens when you run the full tests?
