Hi Andrus,
Indeed, so far there is no plan to implement JPA on top of TranQL.
Thanks for asking if your JPA QL work could somehow benefit to
TranQL. Also, if you find some interesting pieces of code in TranQL
that you would like to reuse, then please feel free to let me know.
Thanks,
I am cc'ying to Gianny (hope I got the right address), but I'd still
like to keep the thread public.
Since the response from others (Matt) was essentially JPA QL support
is not planned, and we need it now, I already started working on the
parser on Cayenne side using JavaCC (I know TranQL
Wow...didn't see that one coming ;-P
Ok

Can you release tranql using m2, into an m2 repo... that is one of the G
deps that currently must be pulled from an m1 repo, which does not give
us valid v4 poms. I posted patches to djencks for the m2 build a while
I don't think there are any plans, but you should send an email to
Gianny as he is the only one working on the EJBQL code.
If Cayenne is planing on using this code also, you two should talk
about bringing TranQL to Apache (maybe the db project).

Not sure if there is such thing as TranQL mailing list, so I figured,
I'll ask here.
Are there any plans to extend TranQL with EJB3 QL support?
Thanks
Andrus
For EJB 3 persistence we're looking to leverage other projects like OpenJPA and
/ or Cayenne.

I dunno what is up the with TranQL ML either... need to get some more
m2 related changes into that project and not sure where to ask.

Yeah :-) so I was checking if there is a parser in the works. Ok,
we'll work on it.

Heh, I should have checked the incoming Andrus...my bad...
Jason, on the M2 stuff for Tranql you can kick me or Gianny.
