I have one larger feature in gossip-21 and fixed up some smaller bits along
the way.

Lets start the release process in a week, I would like to either finish 21
or chop some of the improvements out of it.

I exactly don't remember though. I tried with bundle install and it failed
on nokogiri. Once i installed it manually it worked fine.
If i see this again i will take screenshot and share.
Now i am raising a PR for asf-site branch. Please review and merge.
Thanks

IMO to start with version release we should follow Jira sprint.
We only have few jira tickets right now. I am sure we have lot of feature
to add in Gossip. I request PMC members to add more Story/Tasks in Jira so
that we can develop and include them in future releases.

One of the more important tasks during incubation is making approved releases.
Any thoughts on working toward a first release?

I will need to merge this fairly quickly as we have some non working tests.

Question. Pardon my ignorance on this topic.
1) Did you figure out how to build the gem project
2) It looks like we have to commit the generated artifacts. Did your patch
make changes to the generated artifacts or only the source ones?

Hum. I typically start up the service by hand. I do not use gossip runner.
There is a unit test that constructs the file in the scope of a a test:

Hi,
GossipRunner needs gossip.conf to run. I tried searching in gossip repo but
didn't find.
Please push gossip.conf in test resource.
Thanks
