Yes. We need to fix the assembly. Its going to trip folks up. I
don't think it a sinker on the RC though, especially
OK, that'll do. I found problems in .90 that the hbase-default.xml
wasn't being read from the .jar at all, or was overriding hbase-site
such that the ZK cluster couldn't be found, even when force adding the
resource to the HBaseConfiguration.

Forgive me if this is already answered, but does .90.1 fix the bug
wherein the hbase-default.xml contained in the .jar overrides the
hbase-site.xml in the conf directory? (Did I state that right?)

Yes. We need to fix the assembly. Its going to trip folks up. I
don't think it a sinker on the RC though, especially as we
patches (including
3524) ... for deployment to preproduction staging. Depending how that goes we
may have jiras and patches for you next week.
Best regards,

I am generally +1, but we'll need
another RC to address HBASE-3524.
Here
Given 0.90.0 RC3 installation, apart from replacing hbase-0.90.0.jar with
hbase-0.90.1.jar, what else do I need to upgrade ?
Thanks

Did you use the VerifyingWordload?
No.
I'd use that instead of com.yahoo.ycsb.workloads.CoreWorkload in a
