I think not supported doesn't necessarily mean we don't intend HBase to be used this way, could also mean we just haven't implemented certain feature yet. Like, streaming RPC isn't supported, but may very well be the way to go in future. I'd rather say something like - "Not supported" == "we

All, Can you please weigh in here or on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-14810 about what we should mean by "not tested" and "not supported" in our docs? I took a first stab, but may be way off base: Not tested – We do not have formal tests for this scenario, this configuration, etc.
