We presently have 6 releases on the apache distro mirrors from 0.10.2 - 0.12.1, way more than the 3 that Apache Infra would normally permit. 0.11.0 includes all of 0.10.2, I don't see why we can't purge 0.10.2. I guess the book talks about 0.10.x and hence we may need to keep that around,
