To address the concern about trying to add some more value to the 3.0 release why don't we look in JIRA to see if there is anything we might do like: Things that can be added to the super-POM for example that if we do the merging rules correctly should be a benefit and not adversely affect

I just wanted to say that I have been unable to build the site for Commons VFS ever since I converted it to use Maven 2 as the links were hopelessly broken. However, today I compiled trunk and configured VFS to use that and it is now working fine. I don't know if this is a result of fixes for
