A new feature to our docker testing to add support for the git version /
branch of the plugin to test was added during development.
This feature however makes it impossible to run the docker testing suite
against the signed src tarball for verification.

Hi all,
We're getting close to wrapping up the feature branch work for upgrading to
HDP 3.1. As previously discussed, this is a backwards incompatible upgrade
and is going to require a 1.x Metron release. There has already been some
discussion on this here -
FYI - we were able to move forward on getting Kerberos working without
requiring a Curator upgrade. We probably want to consider some architecture
changes around how we manage this queue in MaaS at some point, however
right now we will be continuing with the current version of Curator. The
