For the updateActionListener these is one open issue.
It provides a converter attribute. to me it makes sence to do a renaming from
t:updateActionListener to t:setPropertyActionListener and introducing

I thought the point of this external was to allow developers to see
all MyFaces source code with one simple checkout/udpate. The
current external does this now - it includes tomahawk, tobago, etc.
My understanding was that the current12 would just substitute the core
1.2 branch for the trunk

It's not possible to use 1.1.3 in a production environment when server
side state saving is enabled.
See: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-1296 for details.
It would be good to start a release cycle for 1.1.4 right after
tomahawk was released.

Yes that was the plan. Unfortunately I am getting too busy to be
doing all of this release stuff on my own. We need to have someone
else step up and serve as release manager for a little while. I'll be
happy to try and help transition the person and establish some
documentation.

I was thinking I would get the wiki started and then talk people
through it. Since we are currently voting on the PMC for someone else
who could be helpful I suggest we wait the 72 hours and then start.
This way I can walk Catalin and other interested parties through it at
the same time.

Is it possible to attach the validation logic to a specific button
(commandButton and/or commandLink)?
For example, I have a save commandLink and confirm commandLink. I
want to do the validation only when the confirm link is pressed? [the
application uses links instead of buttons because of
