Hi,
does anybody know why since the beginning of February there is no build
server node "ubuntu&&xenial" anymore. This causes the build job to starve.

I took a look at geertjans branch (https://github.com/geertjanw/netbeans)

You should be able to deal with the dbx dependency simply by removing
'cnd.debugger.dbx' from the 'nb.cluster.cnd'
list in "nbbuild/cluster.properties". There's also 'libs.dbx.suppo

it is simply an invalid XML.

Well, this is problematic, too. Firstly, all months are not equal, e.g.,
every March and October usage of NetBeans is higher than other months
(probably connected to academic years), and secondly, downloads do not
equal active users (three pings to plugin infrastructure equals an active
user, i.e.,

Actually, statistics provided in Excel file by Emilian for Dec and Jan
include also the number of downloads per month which is very likely highly
correlated with the number of active users

Well although this is not of any practical value, I don't think it's a
waste of time since it's time to put an end on these surveys which can have
a damaging effect on NetBeans growth.
The latest survey from Rebel states 3% for NetBeans. These surveys support

Maybe it makes sense to collect all issues first. We could treat all
missing dependencies as Gaps and try to figure out where in the code we
have issues.
We could then evaluate the gaps and make a decision if it is worth to
close the gaps or rewrite. And maybe we can collect Informations or

I'd be in favor of not wasting time on the discussion anymore -- and focus

By the way this info will help to show that surveys showing only 10% of

last beta.
