Hi,
just a note that I expect some student queries to come through in the next
few weeks for GSoC.
We have a project proposal and I saw already a few Jira account requests.

Hi,
I've tried added this Project Idea to the Gsoc list:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-2782
I think it is a nice little project, there is a lot a student can learn as
well as adding new features to OpenMeetings around blurring backgrounds or
adding customer background images

Hi all,
Happy New Year! Hope you had a good start into 2024!
I've updated some server packages on https://om-hosting.com/ to use
OpenMeetings 7.2.0 and it does require KMS 6.18.0 as the minimum KMS
version.
Has somebody tried KMS 7.0.x ? I saw there is a KMS 7.0.1 release.
Thanks
Seb

Should we update to v7.0.0 ?
OpenMeetings 7.0.0 requires KMS 6.18 as far as I know?
KMS 7.0.0 introduces API changes and is not backwards compatible.
See:

It is a bit confusing, but OpenMeetings v7.0.0 I think is not

do we have any news when and how KMS will be compatible with the ARM CPU

I would like to add a ticket to investigate and look into adding 2 factor

There are various libraries to achieve 2 factor auth. I would

On the website sth must have gone wrong with generating the website last

on all pages. I haven't seen this happening before. Maybe

Hi all!
you can now use a community contributed PHP composer module to make
integration to OpenMeetings easier

Hi,
as discussed in the comments section in
https://github.com/apache/openmeetings/commit/4daf7c1f53738cd786dc976114cc5278b4f05f4f#comments
we would like to propose a breaking change for the OpenMeetings Json/Rest
API in v7.0.0

You can now use a new Node.js module contributed by om-hosting.com to
integrate OpenMeetings to your Node.js powered website!
See:
- OpenMeetings-Node-Client:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/openmeetings-node-client
- Or the links and examples on the OpenMeetings website:

Hi,
as for the generated swagger API definition, there are a few options on how
to ship it with every distribution of OpenMeetings:
1) Just include the raw openapi json and yaml file. If somebody wants to
browse the spec they have to use their own swagger editor.
2) Include the swagger-ui in
Hi,
I've updated the website and added an automatically generated swagger file
from our Rest Service:

The PR that adds this auto-generation from our WebService definition is
