Just the sorting is not intuitive... Maybe sort by Name (with non-Latin at the end) or by language code? Mozilla has a language listbox at the bottom of their site, and they sort via ISO codes. Wikipedia as a language list at the side, it seems that both sort the list according to the Latin transliteration, or something similar. They sort alphabetically via the native language names. But it's followed not really consequently. For OpenOffice I would suggest to do the sorting via ISO code. As they are shown in the list it's understandable for all - also for non-native speakers. BTW: Tal, I know that Hebrew is working from right-to-left. However, it doesn't look good compared to the other list items. Would you mind to change it to left-to-right? Reporting a problem with the OpenOffice website
Problem with bookmarks: I am using the latest open office and experimenting with recreating some of my files in odt format. I am having a huge problem with editing a bookmark. I have put a couple of them in the wrong place but I cannot find a facility to 'view bookmarks' in order to see where the bookmark is and how I then edit it. If i single click on the hyperlink it says 'ctrl-click to open hyperlink' followed by the bookmark name. Problem is if I hold ctrl down and click, it just leads me to the position of the bookmark and I still can't see it to change or delete it. My OS is XP V 3. Any idea? Minor issue on to-do list
I have moved the taskbar location to the left side of my windows screen. Open Office Writer handles this just fine (immediately). Open Office Help does not and generates a screen too wide. Yes I know, I can adjust the screen size manually once and it is fixed, that is why the issue is so minor. I seem to keep finding minor issues, but if I don't report them, who will know? Howard

"Available Extension Updates" doesn't show the most recent English dictionaries
Hello! If you well remember, I have uploaded V2.14 on Monday. I installed an old version in my AOO just to check if it would trigger the most recent one. But, in the updates notification, it always says: "2014-06-01" instead of "2014-07-01". Could someone give a look at it? Thanks! Kind regards, >Marco A.G.Pinto --- --

Re: AOO 4.1.1 - any chance to solve issue 124107?
Hi, On 16.06.2014 12:48, Mathias Röllig wrote: Hello! It took some time, but now I had a chance to have a look at this issue. For me it is a serious one. I will it take it over to work on a solution. Re: [REQUEST] help needed on newly submitted issues
Hi, On 03.07.2014 00:20, Kay Schenk wrote: On 07/01/2014 01:39 AM, Oliver-Rainer Wittmann wrote: Hi, in order to assure that we address the serious defects in our planned 4.1.1 release I would like to request help on newly submitted issues. My issue query for issues which had been submitted since our 4.1.0 release and which are not solved contain more than 200 issues. Most of them are in status unconfirmed and several of them have subjects which indicate that they are critical. In order to support the developers it would be really great, if these issues could be reviewed: - check, if the issue can be reproduced --> status confirmed -- if not reproducible, ask for more information --> keyword needmoreinfo - check, if the issue is a duplicate --> resolve as duplicate - check, if the issue is a regression to a recent release - e.g. no defect in 4.0.0 or/and 4.0.1, but not in 4.1.0 --> adjust version field - give attention to issues which seem to be serious enough to be considered for the next release. Thanks in advance, Oliver. OK, another question... I am currently using the latest 4.1.1 snapshot version for testing -- AOO411m1(Build:9770) - Rev. 1604099 2014-06-30_07:13:14-Rev.1606633 What should I use for the "latest confirmed version" in the issues since we seem to have only these choices --4.1.0, 4.2.0-dev. I would go for "4.2.0-dev" resp. "4.1.0" depending on the fact, if the issue still exists on recent trunk builds or not. Additional I would add a comment that it also occurs on a specific 4.1.1 snapshot version. I am not sure, if we need entry "4.1.1-dev". Introducing would not hurt, when we assure that it is replaced by "4.1.1" once our 4.1.1 release is out.
