JOSMs presets.xml. I am now having a problem with the latest version as it

I have added a check to the OSM Inspector for ways with more than 1000
nodes.

There are currently 604 of those long ways in Europe.

I just added a new file to the patch that now realizes the first idea
below. You can now also select two arbitrary nodes and then the ways
will be aligned to the direction established by the two nodes.
