This is all fairly pgsnapshot specific so I guess it depends on if you want that page to be about osmosis and postgis or osmosis and pgsnapshot. I’m really not much of a wiki editor myself. From: Brett Henderson [mailto:br...@bretth.com] Sent: Sunday, January 27, 2013 7:36 PM To: Paul

[osmosis-dev] Un-Redacting Stuff

2013-01-28 Thread Frederik Ramm
Hi, with the license change we introduced the concept of redacted objects. Since redacting an old version touches that version in the database, initially such redactions made Osmosis issue diffs that contained that old version; we then introduced a quick fix to stop that:

[OSM-dev] Highway Statistics: counting the number of roads along a junction/roundabout

2013-01-28 Thread Martin Alegre
Dear all, I need to generate some statistics on highways. More precisely, given an OSM file of a city, I would like to find out which is the average number of roads along a junction/roundabout? Does anybody has some experience doing that? Given the OSM documentation, it seems to be, that the only

Hi. I guess most of the roundabouts are not modeled as a relation, and I don't think that would be necessary. A roundabout should be a closed way tagged as highway=roundabout. = to get all roundabouts fetch all ways tagged as such. To count all ingoing/outgoing streets for all roundabouts, I

Just to point out that most junctions and roundabouts won't actually be members on junction relations. The relations tend to only be used for complex junctions. I'd also point out that you'll need to keep in mind your handling of divided highways, where you'll have at least two portions of

It's worth noting that many roundabouts have been split for bridges, tunnels or route relations, thus aren't closed ways. Shaun On 28 Jan 2013, at 12:08, Peter Wendorff wendo...@uni-paderborn.de wrote: Hi. I guess most of the roundabouts are not modeled as a relation, and I don't think
