The API will be offline for a few hours starting at approximately 0800
GMT on Sunday morning (9th November) to allow a corrupt table to be
repaired.
I will try and keep the API running in readonly mode, but it that proves
to be impossible it may have to be turned off completely.

Hi,
while testing osm2go i got the 500 (internal server error) message quite
frequently.
This may be a coincidence, but so far i never got this message when testing via
broadband, but about 10% of upload trials fail with this message when going
via gprs/cell phone.
I'll keep an eye on this ...
There are three xapi servers.
The file system on Hypercube has been increasingly slow in the last few
days, I'm not sure why but it has made this server pretty unusable.
The instance at bearstech.com had a hard disk failure. The disk has been
replaced, but the server has not yet been rebuilt.

I can get no data from the XAPI servers at all. Both xapi.openstreetmap.org and
osmxapi.hypercube.telascience.org come back with ERROR 501: Internal Server
Error.
What's going on?

Maybe silly question but is it possible to have a local install of osmxapi?
In other words, are the sources available somewhere or are they "hidden" in
another product?

Do you have tables in the database as per the main site. osmosis
doesn't automatically create the tables by default.
For setting up please see:

Hi,
I use Hibernate Spatial & PostGIS.
With the osmosis sql schema I created a postgis db and filled it via
