Hi, yes, we should do a RC as proposed by you. I would say we will strive for keeping the API stable (or do only backward compatible changes/additions), however this mostly depends on the user feedback we get. I would also support an expected date for the final release as Maruan proposed. B

Hi, having a 2.0.0 release is what a number of users are waiting for (including me). However this also means that the current flexibility of changing APIs will be stopped and one has to agree to a set of APIs which will change during the 2.0.x cycle only minimal (at least in a compatible way)
