Hi,
I think is a good idea to make some branding here. It should be very easy.
We should check [1].
An example of this is [2]. So, I could see how a GitHub theme is done and
prepare one with some graphics, fonts and CSS from our website
But I think this could be done in parallel to the migration
We have separate repository here [1]. Whatever you push there it will be
automatically deployed here [2].
In what format it should be - well I always thought that it can be bunch of
github pages - Which we later display it somehow.
If you look into some of the page in Olaf's starting point

I am not sure if there's already an idea or decision about it.
My opinion is, to move stuff from the FlexJS wiki to the GitHub
asjs/compiler
Yes, that's an excellent beginning and structure.
Royale will need a branded knowledge base. Will that be integrated in the
website, or a wiki hosted on github or somewhere else?

Hi,
We have started that effort here [1]. That was quite good starting point.

Changing subject
About Github documentation, I think we should start migrating what we have
already at Apache Wiki in FlexJS.
For Example this:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLEX/FlexJS+Basic+components
Would be a great start
About the documentation tag, I see you already
Hi Andrew,

Hi Alex,
for my understanding, the "DataBindingExample_Flat" example depends on
"Flat.swc" [1] and in opposition to what I've said before, this is not
available in my local folder 'apache-royale-0.9.0-src' during the build (I
thought it is available, but it is only available in
I added a small set of changes for the privacy policy page.
I am thinking about where to record and track tasks for future
documentation. I see that our project in GitHub has a "documentation" tag
with no active bug reports. Is that where I should enter, not just
documentation bug issues, but
Carlos,
I'm still thinking that maybe Getting Started should be in the main menu
and Try It Now more hidden. - It's not ready yet.
Thanks, Piotr

I doubt we should get in the Royale something like PopupManager. I think it
should be on the application developer sight to give popup appropriate
Parent. Several frameworks like PureMVC, Parsley make it easy.
PureMVC is working great with Royale.
Thanks, Piotr

Hi, if you want that I help inserting something in "Getting Started" let me
about the text and where to insert it.
You can as well insert it yourself if you want. Choose whatever you feel
more confortable
thanks

Popups In flex always was tricky, if you remember about Application tree vs
SystemManager tree where all popups hangs.
we should try to get in Royale as smooth as possible, but we need to start
with something and then try to solve of the old and new problems. It's a
matter of iterate :)
Thanks!
Hi Andrew,
I'll integrate your updates. I think I put all of them.
I added a new favicon with the Royale logo
Thanks again! :)

Hi Carlos,
No problem. The one thing which bothers me is that maybe Alert should have
position: absolute. In my application I did it as an absolute. Will see
once you get your hands into that. ;)
I have also found couple of scenario with data binding which were not
working. I had to make some
Hi Piotr,

Hi Olaf,
I think I may have added -Dplayerglobal.version=28.0 as well as setting
PLAYERGLOBAL_VERSION.
However, yes, I am more interested in seeing if the script will run
without any of AIR_HOME/PLAYERGLOBAL_HOME/FLASHPLAYER_DEBUGGER set. So
not only should you remove the checks in
