Hi In my case I am behind a proxy. Howver, I think (have not tried) that if you ommit the section completely it will use the settings.xml, meaning that the pom repositories section overrides the settings.xml with respect to this. Hermod -Original Message- From: Wendy Smoak (JIRA) [mail

It's simply a matter of when someone can roll it. Wendy's and Niall both wanted to do it, but ran shy of time. I can do it in the first part of July, but not before. Right now, Frank is preparing some "checkstyle" fixes. (All of which has been discussed on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] Everything is deci

I'll be heads-down for the rest of June finishing up a contract, but I'll be back come July 5, ready to wrap up Struts Action 1.3.5 (if no one beats me to it). I've the rest of July blocked out to work on SAF 2.0.0 documentation and remaining code issues. -Ted. --

As I understand it, doDefault was basically the WW equivalent of a forward Action. Ted's migration guide as a section on it [1]. The short answer is just to omit the className attribute altogether: /pages/Welcome.jsp Don [1] http://confluence.twdata.org/display/WW/Issues+and+Solutions Pe

I agree that its time for Shale to find a new home. I actually think that living here in the Struts project is holding Shale back more then its helping at this point. I also feel that Shale is still a little ahead of its time. JSF is still gaining acceptance and Shale builds on JSF. Imagine if

I find two uses of action mappings in my applications. One loads data for view, another writes data and then goes to a view. These views, I suppose, would logically be "pages" if Struts were a page-based controller. But I do find this kind of use-case always cropping into my apps, and one of my

JSF is not a major shift. It is just a way to let tools do the coding for people who have difficulty with code. It is also not ahead of its time, unless it has been ahead of its time for a record length of time. It is just not a very good idea. It is VB for Java web frameworks. Only VB orient
