[Dev] post multipart/form-data

2014-01-29 Thread krishantha
I need to pass photo and access token to back end REST service. Content type
is multipart/form-dataI created html form and action is endpoint of esbAnd I
have traced the traffic on the way to ESB [A] and going out from ESB [B]. It
seems slide changes on those and I have no idea to fix this. When I send
captured traffic on the way to ESB [A] its accepting by back end service.
But traffic which going out by ESB[B] is not accepting by back end. Means
not recognized the values in boundaries. It says “values empty”*Output on
the way to ESB – when this FWD to backend it

 Hi Isuruwan,

 Chunk 05 build failures are due to some backend/UI test failures.
 Seems like teams have released the products with integration test
 failures.
 Fixing those failure are not possible because code cannot be committed .
 And even skipping failure cases though testNG xml will take lot of effort
 because need to rewrite testNG xml and include all classes and exclude
 failure classes (TestNg supports only for class exclusion).

 Best option available now is to use
 testFailureIgnorehttp://maven.apache.org/surefire/maven-surefire-plugin/test-mojo.html#testFailureIgnoreproperty.
  You can set this property with maven build command and ignore
 test failures to get the build passed.

Hi,

Ran the integration tests in AS from the chunk05 tag. Didn't get the pox
security integration failures. Only error is the jaggery email test case
which fails due to emails being blocked in the server. See the
surefire-reports attached. Need to check the diff between tag and active
branch and identify what's causing the failures..

thanks,

 Hi Isuruwan,

 Chunk 05 build failures are due to some backend/UI test failures.
 Seems like teams have released the products with integration test
 failures.
 Fixing those failure are not possible because code cannot be committed .
 And even skipping failure cases though testNG xml will take lot of effort
 because need to rewrite testNG xml and include all classes and exclude
 failure classes (TestNg supports only for class exclusion).

 Best option available now is to use
 testFailureIgnorehttp://maven.apache.org/surefire/maven-surefire-plugin/test-mojo.html#testFailureIgnoreproperty.
  You can set this property with maven build command and ignore
 test failures to get the build passed.

when i put this
messageFormatter contentType=application/json/badgerfish

its added --MIMEBoundary_f87531fc30be8d54586c12407e50802a83e6f39add1ac30f
as boundary while request comes as
Content-Type: multipart/form-data;

messge builder set as
 messageBuilder contentType=multipart/form-data

in this case problem is parameter not set with value. following combination
is work but problem is override the boundary name

messageBuilder contentType=multipart/form-data

[Dev] Error creating mashup service in AS with LDAP

2014-01-29 Thread Ubalquis Montenegro

Hi all,
I recently posted a question at [1] asking about creation of mashup
services in an AS server. The problem is that we access into the server
through an LDAP, so the users authenticated are logged with the
following format: domain/username@carbon.super
So, I realized that when we create a mashup service it takes as name
something like username/nameOfTheService. The problem is that the
username authenticated includes an slash (/) , so when we try to create
a service the given service´s name is changed by the username.
It seems to be a little problem into the jar where are implemented the
functionalities related with creation of mashups. So, what jar is it?

If I´m wrong in my assumption please correct me.
Thanks.

[Dev] [TAF] [Integration Tests] How to create a Role with login permission?

2014-01-29 Thread Bhathiya Jayasekara
Hi Krishantha,

As you suggested, I'm using UserManagementClient to create a role and
assign it to a user. I used following code to do that.

UserManagementClient userManagementClient = new UserManagementClient(
cassandraTestHelper.getBackendUrl(),
cassandraTestHelper.getSessionCookie());
userManagementClient.addUser(TEST_USER_NAME, TEST_USER_PASSWORD, new
String[0], SS);
userManagementClient.addRole(TEST_ROLE, new String[]{TEST_USER_NAME},
*new String[0]*);

I'm unable to figure out how to give permissions here using a String array.
Can you please tell me how to add login permission to this role?

Thanks,

 Any suggestion regarding this or what are the other permission required

 You would need /permission/admin/manage permission for EntitlementService
 according to [1]. Similarly permissions required for any admin service can
 be found in the services.xml of the relevant component.

Re: [Dev] [TAF] [Integration Tests] How to create a Role with login permission?

2014-01-29 Thread Krishantha Samaraweera
Hi Bathiya,

You have to use String array of permission as follows. You can get the
relevant permission path by going though permission tree in product user
management console. To get the permissions paths, you can add a new role
from UI with selected permissions and analyse the POST request goes out
using firebug.

String[] permissions = {/permission/admin/login};

Thanks,
Krishantha.

Here is the location for the carbon kernel and the orbit. For now I have
configured to ignore the test failures. Please remove it after fixing the
issue.

 looking in to it. Another concern is that we need to have an orbit location
 for 4.3.0 (or we can directly put them in the nexus) but there is already
 existing an orbit repo in github. Since no one is using that orbit I think
 we should remove it and put the new orbit bundles there. WDYT?

Re: [Dev] Please make sure to release chunk-07 with zero test failures.

2014-01-29 Thread Krishantha Samaraweera
Thanks IsuruU for the update.

Can you send me the class names of those two failed cases. I will have a
look. If we cannot fix it property before the release, we need to disable
those tests.

With regard to the UI test failures. I think issue is with browser version
compatibility with selenium version we used. Updating selenium version in
test framework at this stage is not a good decision. Because it could
introduce dependency conflicts with axis2 dependencies (we experience this
before)

Thus, my recommendation is to use -Dwebdriver.firefox.bin option with maven
and point it to earlier version of firefox 20~24. Note that you don't need
to downgrade firefox, just pointing to firefox binary will be enough.

e.g
maven install -Dwebdriver.firefox.bin=/path/to/your/firefox/firefox-20-bin

Thanks,
Krishantha.

ESB UI tests were executed and there were three test failures. Two test
cases were fixed.

I have seen dead page while executing EndpointsListTestCase, this test case
is added for JIRA at https://wso2.org/jira/browse/ESBJAVA-2586

Can ESB team please check the patch is provided in the JIRA is properly
applied.

Thanks,
