Hi Zoran,
Let's try and meet up at the EU Roadshow. I suggest we meet near the
Apache stand (and ice cream machine) this afternoon some time between
14.00 to 18.00. Let me know when works for you. I suggest we allow
around 30 minutes.

Hi Mark,
thank you. We have a SVG template[1], would that be OK? I think that
the logo with the dune and the text Apache Camel in the third row or
just the bottom right variant without the text on a light
background[2] would look good.
It would be also nice if we could offer both men and women var
Hi Zoran,
If you can provide me with a high res (redbubble has the requirements)
logo I should be able to set up the same products for Camel as I did for
Tomcat.
Cheers,

The plan was to (try and) provide swag for as many of our projects as
possible.
There seems to be general consensus that this is OK to do in ComDev's
name - I just need to

No objection. And I will note that VP Trademarks has approved this action
(at least) twice in the past.

Please note that this heightens an issue with trademark infringement that
was handed off to brand@ quite recently as we have at least one official
swag store.
In any case, I'd like to see an official store because spending some money
to send a hoodie or swag to sponsors is always a way to keep lin

I'm fine with that, maybe call it the "ASF Community Swag Store".

Hi All
Thanks Mark for starting this thread.
I started thinking about an ASF swag store last year but wasnât too sure how
to approach it. Talking to people informally I did get some positive feedback
so mentioned it to the OFBiz project [1] . OFBiz includes all the functionality

Hi All
Iâve been managing the Stickermule orders for stickers using the ASF account
for the last year or so and the costs have worked out well. They offer us some
good quantity discounts and free shipping. As an example my last order was for
1800 stickers and the cost worked out at 23 cents p

I like the idea but would prefer that we call it "the comdev store" or
something more neutral like that instead of "official". As Rich and
others say, we don't want to lock out o

Not so much any more. I have gotten very nice stickers from Stickermule.
Their minimum quantity is 50 and for small stickers that is

Speaking as somebody who has caused to be printed and given away bunches of
Apache project logo stickers, I don't see much market that we are taking
away. When I give away logo stickers, I tend to buy at least hundreds of
them so the Apache store wouldn't affect that. But there are lots of times

I think a default swag source would be grand if you can avoid minimums and
setup fees. My guess from the high price of the stickers compared to other
sources such as Stickermule that charge a setup is that redbubble is eating
the difference.
