Hi,
I would like to introduce myself.
On this moment iI have some spare time to commit to SciLAB.
I used it extensively and was very pleased when version 6.0 arrived.
However, this version has some very annoying bugs. Especially in xcos.
One option is to complain about this. But I prefer to try
I checked out the latest git repository complete.
I performed a full clone when I do a "git tag" I see all tags currently
listed on the website except for 6.0.1.
However, if I get the MD5 sum from the site and use it to go to the source
I get an 6.0.1 version.
In short what am I doing wrong?

easier to
compile scilab from scratch.
I do this because I am interested on working on XCOS.. This is a very cool
tool
which still needs a lot of work.

Good day,
I was having a look into some superblock problems.
In version 6.0.1. there are many problems with the super block.
I have checkout the latest version of the GIT repository and can build and
debug it using eclipse.
On this moment I am interested in Bug 14670 Super block can be opened
problem. Really like Xcos, but it is still very
broken. Like to contribute if possible.
Thanks.

I installed JDK 8 and used the java configuration tool to point to this
version. Ubuntu 18.04 comes with JAVA 11.
Your best bet is to remove the current java version and install the JDK8
version.
Also I had a JDK_HOME variable pointing to the wrong location.
