Except Mark Struberg didn't really specify if the vote is binding and
if it's already to be considered IPMC binding.

I'm sure he meant to but since it wasn't explicitly mentioned, I don't
believe the Release Manager acting on behalf of the PPMC can count the
vote like that.

Happy to clarify this.
+1 means +1
In regards to the things to look at during a vote (legal stuff, valid content,
etc) it should not make any difference whether a person is a contributor, a
committer or even an ASF member.
The only difference is whether the +1 is formally counted as binding or

Hi all,
We've completed the NetCAT process (on the functioning of the convenience
binary of Apache NetBeans 10) and the PPMC vote (on the sources of Apache
NetBeans 10).
Right now, the IPMC (the incubator project management committee) is voting
on the sources of Apache NetBeans 10, since Apache

Now that the 3rd donation is done and complete in every way, we have this

These are the tutorials that are available here:

Hi,
For the generation of the javadoc we miss some branding changes to some
file that were done at the time at Oracle but missed for NetBeans 8.2.
This will be the following file
nbbuild/javadoctools/export2html.xsl
nbbuild/javadoctools/export2apichanges.xsl
The Javadoc buildscript

'kb' stands for 'knowledge base', if we can keep that, and if we want to
keep things as similar as possible, that would be great.

Hello Mike,
the stack trace looks really strange - like some endless loop in the
compiler. Could You probably just try to use any other JDK 9+, probably
even JDK 12 EA?
Kind regards

Hi all,
Since netbeans.org is now being managed/served by the ASF (
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-16946), it should be rerouted
to netbeans.apache.org:

The above, from an Apache infra side is "easily changed, and quickly

Could you add that and as much detail about this, i.e., what would need to
be done, where exactly, how, to enable this, here:

Hi Antonio,
Im not sure how you communicate with INFRA (chat or ticket).
I was wondering if its possible to ask INFRA if it'is possible to have a
Jenkins user that is allowed to do stuff on the netbeans-vm like,
remove content/javadoc folder, and populating back Javadoc.
Idea is to push

It will be like this :
something to handle the hook in the netbeans-vm
a curl command to trigger the hook in a Jenkins build ?
