to obtain tokens in 0.94.x is removed in [hbase
branch-2|https://github.com/apache/hbase/blob/branch-2/hbase-client/src/main/java/org/apache/hadoop/hbase/security/token/TokenUtil.java]
They've introduced the method with a connection in 0.98, but they've changed
the parameter's class from {{HConnection}} to {{Connection} in 1.0.
I don't see an easy way to do this update until both Hadoop-1 and Hadoop-2 is
supported.

Thanks for pointing that out! I've forget to test with hadoop-1 profile.
The problem is that {{org.apache.hadoop.hbase.client.Connection}} was
introduced in HBase 1.0 and hadoop-1 support was removed at the same time. I'll
look for a method to obtain the token that is accessible for both hadoop-1 and
hadoop-2 and is not deprecated.

You can actually add a {{}} section to a {{}}, so I
think what we have to do is add the {{hbase-client}}
dependency to the hadoop-2 profile, and the {{hbase}}
dependency to the hadoop-1 profile. Unfortunately, there's a billion
exclusions on this :(
I wonder if it's possible to use a property for the artifactId and then just
set that property via the profile, which would be a lot simpler. i.e.

1) It's just a constructor call, so if there's an exception, the {{connection}}
would be {{null}} and nothing would happen in the finally block. The {{try}}
block is there to make sure the connection is closed, exceptions are handled
elsewhere.
2) I haven't tried that out yet, I've only checked the two codebases and they
seem to do the same things. Will do that soon.
I had to exclude {{hadoop-auth}} dependency to make oozie comile with hadoop-1,
some testing might be needed on that part too.

Two questions:
# Should {{ConnectionFactory.createConnection(jobConf);}} go into the {{try}}
block? i.e. can it throw a connection?
# Have you verified that this properly impersonates the user? We've had
problems with that in the past (see OOZIE-2419).
