but it's not your mail address I would send the respone to. I'm
confused.

Just to have a response sample to illustrate the tutorial.

A delay that a human simply needs. He is doing the works when he is
doing it. ;-)

Again, it's just to give a correct information in the tutorial
Some end users are rushed ;-)

ah OK, but then it would be better to just ask what the process looks
like and what will happen for the user.

Here is the process:

When a request is coming to sysadmin@ we check for which tool the
request is (the mail address is also used for others) and which name and
mail address. If this not clear we ask and wait for the answer.

So, when users wish to have an acount for BZ, they should write:
- that it is for Bugzilla
- which mail address should be used as login name
- and their real name

When we have the information, we create a new BZ account and give a
response on sysadmin@, so all admins knows.

The account details incl. the password will be send to the user only.
And with the request to change it with first login.

That's it. I hope this helps. :-)

And they are sometimes not the fastest workers. ;-)

A human process means which delay to enable an account?

Account registration has been disabled for spamming cause
In https://bz.apache.org/ooo/createaccount.cgi
I read that:
"New accounts must be created by an administrator. The maintainer is
aoo-bugzilla-ad...@apache.org"
But if I send an e-mail, I get an automated response with:
"To request an account please send an email to sysad...@openoffice.apache.org"
I send a new e-mail to this address but no response since 24hrs.

This registration process is it correct?

yes, but it's not automated. So, a humans have to create the account.
And they are sometimes not the fastest workers. ;-)
