Couple other things.
If you have already started mxosrvr, you can:
Set idletimeout 0; - so your session doesn't timeout
Show remote process; - this tells you what mxosrvr you are running (remote
process may be one word, don't remember)

Does anyone have opinion on this? When I tested Trafodion 2.2 with Kerberos
enabled, the python installation procedure failed.
Since previous releases allow Trafodion to run on Kerberos enabled systems,
this is a regression.

I installed Cloudera 5.7.3 with Kerberos enabled.
I downloaded the source tar files and followed instructions to build the source

I used the python installer to install Trafodion using my binaries.
Ran some queries and verified the authentication & authorization worked.
Why isn't the TEXT table sufficient? There is a sequence number associated
with the row so you can add multiple rows for the same entry. There is code to
split the data into several rows as part of insert and code to put the rows
together in a single field when reading the data.

Of course authentication has to be enabled and the user cannot be granted the

I am setting up a single node VM to test this.
Do we support JAVA 1.8 yet?
I can test with Hortonworks, what is the latest version we support?
I will also turn on LDAP and Kerberos.
