Hey users and developers of kannel,
Any reason why flash=1 is deprecated ?

I wonder if the last change to gwlib/thread.c has any wide-effect, since by replacing

Yes - but read attempts does not cause the module to give up on that

should cause kannel to give up ever trying to get the modem up to speed
(for example : when the user specified an incorrect device line for the
modem).

You're right by saying at2_write_line_cstr always returns 0. I
consider that a cosmetic bug. However that has absolutely no
influence as the return code is
Hi all,
I am new to this kannel lark and have been asked a question that I am unable

I would like to edit kannel.conf with wildcards. Everything that comes in as

You are right, sorry. by installing mySQL with --prefix=/usr it will
compile while both files are in the same directory, because the
configure script (when called with --with-mysql=/usr) will build a
include switch for mysql by slapping /include/mysql on it's with-mysql
dir, which will help gw/sh

Really? It works fine for me with them both
Hi Oded,
well, I know personally who installed the mySQL for you.
The problem is in your side, and the installation is not default.
Next time ask your administrator to install mysql as usual people do, and
not play with lib directories.
For now linking the lib dir as Andreas proposed will solve th

Hi!
I'm generating Kannel on Solaris 2.7 from the latest snapshot generated on october 8,

'make' did successfully compile the package, but 'make check' failed on a number of

Two self-test results are included below:

Hi list.
I'm trying to compile kannel with mySQL support for dlr, and I'm having
some problems with the include files.
I've configured kannel with --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql (where mysql
is installed in our system - which is pretty standard for a /usr/local
installation). now configure builds
