Terry found that channel 1 was the most afflicted. I suspect, but I

Hi KevinAre you saying that you can switch on your twelve XO-1s and that they will automatically connect to a remembered AP?Or did you

No.
This can be proven using a wireless device with monitor mode, tcpdump,
and wireshark. T

Yes, same here.

I did a little more testing on this.
Even when using the routers that 'Passed' our initial ten XO-1 test, I can
see that the XO monitoring the beacon times is being disturbed by the
presence of even a single XO-1 running mesh.
As soon as this XO boots, the beacon times blow out on the monitoring

I don't know that yet, sorry.
While the evidence so far does not incriminate the routers, there are
some routers that have worked fine, and
I guess the key point is that we have to make changes to the XO-1 rather
than the routers :-]

No, I think we should instead figure out why the active scan by the
kernel breaks when a p
Hi All
It does appear (caveat: based on some _limited_ testing I have done today)
that switching off the XO-1 mesh networking will allow the XOs to connect
reliably to APs.
We can see that the 'last beacon' times immediately return to normal when
mesh is disabled on all the XOs.
The mesh operat
Very interesting.
Thanks to share and thanks to Terry for this detailed report.
