Plan Ceibal in Uruguay have told me using the camera on the Jam2Jam activity crashes the activity. That seems to be as much as they can tell me. They use XO 1.0 with sugar 0.88.1. Tested on a XO1 on Dextrose Os373pyg Ran OK Music cannot play full speed, jumps Was able to have 3 camera shots

Sascha This matches what Walter and I are observing with TurtleArt 103. TA uses commands issued to amixer, amixer seems to be behaving inconsistently. Biases of 5k and 15k have been observed but unpredictably. The amixer commands that should switch the bias off just change the gain. With 0dB

The published XO-1.5 spec is very conservative. But unfortunately, layout concerns prevented me from providing too much protection. The parts used (1/16W) should protect up to 9V continuously, ignore previous mail, question answered thats +-9V?

Just make sure you keep in mind the difference between the specification and what is likely to be acceptable. One value is better suited to personal tinkering, the other to widespread propagation. Good point. As background to my questions Turtle Art 103 now supports sensor input.

That's odd, debug does not seem to be on. Is this really os373py? What's in /etc/rc.local? Still getting my head round this stuff. I presume [xx.xx] is the timestamp in seconds. The log activity dmesg captures the first 16 seconds after startup, dmesg in terminal shows [xx.xx]=1 aprox.

Bernie Sorry, on closer inspection its not locked up, it just looks like its locked up because it is doing something else for a long time. Can be replicated 100%. Shut the lid for a while, 5 minutes is not long enough 1.5 hours is. Resume from sleep. The Wifi shows it is connected at 100%
