Re: [sabayon-dev] ISO Testing Results - F12 "crashing" the installer
I had a chat with mudler and the idea is: - test this, if all fine it could go (Geaaru is helping with testing <3), - otherwise it can be worked on and applied later.

It has been fixed upstream. Here's my branch with the commit cherry-picked: https://github.com/Sabayon/anaconda/commits/future-fix-crash-on-f12 I tested it by live editing files on the VM (in busybox vi… still better than nano though). When I have time I can do more tests and this should be good to go. But I don't how if it'll get to the release. What do you think? (One way would to be rage-merge it, let the ISOs generate and play with them…)

Clean up and Release ASAP with 18.04 (Unfreeze and allow updates to flow) Comment from my side and my point of view is that I avoid doing anything with packages and bugs due to the "frozen" status.

Re: [sabayon-dev] Release Goals?
Just for the record. The download page points to another release, not 16.11 (that doesn't have a press release). IMHO we need to release asap, and think to rounding edges later. Re: [sabayon-dev] Release Goals?
Well, I don't think we would have to remain fully frozen. There would be a few bumps that would still take place. On site official release from latest news is 16.11 (a very old release). >From my side I think that could be correct choice 2.
