spmsync correctly detected the freshly added packages, but it does
remove a whole lot of packages which are still correctly installed:
danibook sabayon # equo rescue spmsync

ouch ... a little scary for a linux newbie ... almost all kde wiped out!
from my experience this is not fatal and will not ruin even a fresh kde
install ... all is needed is to calm down, put in a list all that deleted
entropy packages and reinstall all of it ... the do again a smpsync

Today I helped out a user on IRC to compile Gimp from Portage.
All was fine and good until I told him to run equo rescue spmsync.
The output of that on his system was:
