The important information seems to be (because this also has been
mentioned very often in the IRC), if the device is capable to run
CyanogenMod 10.1. So if this works, there is a chance to get it working.
But no guarantee at all for this. :-)

At the end there's no big difference I think. If the hardware is the
same which is supported, will be easy to use for the platform,
independent if there is already Android running on this device or not.
