Application is based on gnrc_networking.

Yes there are equal.
Do you know how long automatic retransmission takes for atmel transceiver?

Re: [riot-devel] Notification: Monthly RIOT developer meeting @ Mon Jan 29, 2018 5pm - 6pm (CET) (RIOT Events)

2018-01-29 Thread Francisco Acosta
Hi RIOTers!

Our first monthly meeting of the year will take place this afternoon at 17:00
CET. In the last meeting, Martine suggested to start at 16:00 CET IIRC, so if
no one is against this change, we can start the next meeting at that time.

The draft agenda I have is:

1. Release bugs (see https://github.com/RIOT-OS/RIOT/projects/16)
2. Coding review guidelines (see PR #7087)

At the beginning of the meeting we can add items to the agenda.

As usual, some notes will be written on the fly at
http://piratepad.net/dev-meeting-29012018

See you there!

Paco.

2018-01-29 Thread Peter Kietzmann
Hi Baptise,

which software did you use on BOARD A and B? AFAIK there is not a known
problem with this in the stack. The Atmel radio does automatic
retransmission and carrier sensing which might take some milli seconds
(not 40!). Can you check if the 802.15.4 sequence number of these
packets is equal?

Cheers
Peter

Re: [riot-devel] RIOT extension for Visual Studio Code

2018-01-29 Thread Daniel Petry

Hi Attilio

This is cool, thanks for doing this! Nice work.

How easily does this transfer to Visual Studio? Since most of the
commercial embedded world seems to use Windows as far as I can see, this
could definitely help support commercial adoption...

Cheers

Dan

Dear RIOTers,

Recently I switched between a lot of editors and now I landed on

It is just a 0.0.1 version but I'm pleased to inform you that I've
just published a Visual Studio Code extension for RIOT:

https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=attdona.riot

I have decided to write this simple extension for easing the
integration of RIOT for vscode.

riot-code is a thin wrapper over the build system of RIOT: it runs
make targets and parses make output for configuring the intellisense
engine of vscode.

I hope you will enjoy riot-code!
feedback welcome!!

greetings
