I'd rather have new co-maintainers sending an email or opening tickets
before being granted the commit bit.
That avoids potential misunderstandings or conflicting changes. :]
I'm more worried about werkzeug/flask - which i also use for some admin

There's no setup to do that automatically, it's up to the comaintainer

That's poor app design and, IMO, a bug.

The software *should* allow the maintainer to relinquish responsiblities and
either A) designate a new maintainer OR B) have maintainership automatically
shift to the next co-maintainer (for simplicity, this could be based on date
commit rights were granted to
the package's repo)

Both use cases should be supported because allowing a co-maintained package to
be orphaned without the consent of *ALL* maintainers makes no sense.

Except that not everyone is perfect and it is easy to miss such pkgdb

more if these procedures would be adjusted to make it harder to fail,
i.e. by explicitly addressing all co-maintainers when the retiring of

So can we get flickcurl and (lib)rawstudio ported to raptor2? I think
raptor 1 needs to be retired sooner or later.

I open a bug
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=838709

to compile flickcurl against raptor2, I test in my local machine with
mock and flickcurl and rawstudio compiles without problems with
raptor2 ...

I like rawstudio app, although I never had much time to use it.

Tracker currently has a BuildRequires on raptor-devel, but it's actually
an obsolete check, since it dropped the require a couple of years ago.
The BR should just be removed from the spec file in this case.

Similar situation for liblrdf. It was built against raptor2 but the
liblrdf-devel erroneously required raptor-devel. Now I got this
fixed.

Would it be a possibility for me to pick up one of the orphaned
packages, without being sponsored into the packager group yet?
I do have an accepted package, but the reviewer is now in the process

Would it be possible for me to already request it, or should I wait to
get sponsored and then apply for the orphaned package?

Thanks in advance,
