Hi michiel as far a I know for RMI to work you need class files that are compiled against the same jvm version (and sometimes even jvm provider) as your runtime. The best for now would be to remove the offending code form the jar , the code does not belong in the WEB-INF/lib but it needs a

I think there is no point in having mmbase-rmmcu.jar anyway. What you need in WEB-INF/lib is mmbase-rmmci-server.jar. And even that should, IMO, not be included automatically in the distro, because it is a functionality that isn't used by many people. Like some other tools, such as the
