Hi everyone.
We continue to experience some issues with the docs branch. Partly, this is
because of the content (XML) which can be a bit tricky to merge some times.
However, I would like to ask going forward, that all changes to the docs be
made through pull requests instead of direct commits to
Hi there.
We were sort of supposed to discuss all of the i18n stuff we had put
together at some point. Lars had mentioned to push it to "next week" two
weeks ago. Not sure if we want to discuss this, but I have material for it.

jason

Increasingly people change the password of the demo server.
Can we put a database trigger in place to prevent this from being changed?
It causes problems for people in general.

I came across these two terms today. Can someone define them for me?
1) Tracker associate
2) Orgunit scope
Will try and add these to the glossary as they may not be so clear to
everyone.

Hi Lars,
Great idea, and I am sure it will be useful.
Just to be a bit difficult as I usually am however.
In some scripts (mostly Python) i have used YAML for these sorts of
configurations. The advantage is it is pretty human readable, and yet
more structured than plain text files, so it would
Hi Lars,
Yes, I see your point, and maybe even YAML is too much. Having two leading
spaces could be too much to task.
Anyway, I thought I would at least suggest it, but if a plain old
properties file works, then lets not over-engineer it for the moment. I can
just possibly envision a situation
Hi there.
We are going to try and version the documents a bit more properly from
2.21. All new functionality which will not be backported should be
documented in the "master" branch. If you are documenting functionality
only relevant to 2.21, then you should put this in the 2.21 branch. If you
Hi Lars,
I think the point Rodoflo makes is actually quite important, particular in
systems which are using approvals or which are incentivized (or perhaps
dis-incentivized in the case of league tables) . The "Complete" button, at
least as I understand it, is really supposed to mimic the

Hi there,
I have just refactored some components to use org.apache.commons.lang3 and
org.apache.commons.math3 over their quite ancient predecessors. There is a
lot of new functionality there, so hopefully this will be useful going
forward. Please try and use these libraries instead of the
